We only needed a place to sleep on a drive from Brisbane to Sydney and chose this place mostly on price. It's on the edge of town in 10 acre gardens. It's bright and breezy on first sight, and the people running it are charming and helpful. Our room was a good size, with what looked like a newly refitted bathroom. The restaurant attached to the hotel has a limited menu, but the three of us all had something different, and we all enjoyed it. Breakfast was good too. There's a nice pool and...

From the welcome until we left we were most impressed by this hotel. The lady at reception was so friendly with recommendations to watch the waves at the lighthouse and possibly see whales. Unfortunately we didn’t see any but have a great time watching the waves crash against the rocks.
The room was excellent, spotlessly clean and had a great nights sleep.
Would definitely visit again if in the area.
