"Beautifully manicured gardens, open style casual dining at Marea was nice and breezy. Massages were high quality and the spa area was very calm and relaxing. Junior suite was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Great breakfast options for vegans, there was a different hot dish every day."

" I have extended my stay for another night in the hotel. The hotel is nicely located along the beach aamd walkable to all the restaurants along Alona beach, it’s a good place to relax at night as they have a live performer and the place is beautifully lighted. Best customer service."

"Pictures were deceitful for us as when we got there it was very run down. The mattress was the worst one I slept on in 3 weeks of travelling. The room was old and the appliances too. Location was close to all main restaurants but the road to get there was terrible and we couldn’t wheel our suitcases on it. Huge spiders and webs on the roof leading up to our rooms also. The receptionists were friendly and helpful but unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend."

"Resort is excellent - beautiful grounds, pool is absolutely wonderful, restaurant onsite is good and service and staff are exceptional. Location is also great - an easy walk to the beach, many restaurants are very close. Room was clean, spacious and super comfortable. Highly recommend Bathala!"
