"Our hotelier, Marcel was wonderful and so helpful and we had laundry done for a very reasonable price and returned same day. It's difficult to get to the riad as cars can only get so close but it is very walkable to the coast, the ferry station, and all of the souks in the medina. The bed was very hard as they are at most riads and unfortunately there was a mosque speaker right outside of the old wooden window frames so the prayers are VERY loud with the first at dawn and the last about an hour...

"The hotel is a modern high end gated community. The room was spacious and had a large terrace with lounge chair. Their a nice pool and a reading room for the guest. Marwan the front desk person was very helpful arranging driver to the airport and took care of everything for us. Hotel is about 3 miles form the old city but it is only a 2 Euro cab ride there. You can also walk to the modern Soco Alto mall in 10 minutes which has a large Carrefour supermarket and a nice place for lunch called Paul....

"I sent a message two days prior to checking in and never received a response. Checking was chaotic and took forever. Lots of guests were waiting and only one receptionist with poor training. "This property was chosen for its proximity to the airport. It neglected to mention there is a mosques next door which is regularly noisy very noisy. There was a very old smelly floor mop in the bathroom which had been used on the floor thus the smell was everywhere. I put the mop on the verandah but it did not make the bathroom smell better. Also there was 1 bathrobe for 2 people??? Seemed more like a bachelor pad to me (a female). Also Heads and Shoulders Shampoo ewww!"
