Breakfast was in the next-door pub, The Fiddler, which was great No Balcony, no open window, the doonah had mildew in parts of the seams. The cleaner, Sunday, was exceptionally terrific. The staff were very courteous.

The first room that they gave us was a little dusty & the traffic outside was so loud before 6AM. The smoke alarm above our bed was blinking bright lights all night long. The 2nd day we were moved to a different room on the same floor but on the opposite side of the previous room. Much cleaner & no traffic noise but all the rooms have smoke alarms above the bed that constantly blinks bright white lights all night long. We just have to pull the covers over our head. Kinda annoying. The staff were very helpful but there’s nothing they can do with the smoke alarm lights

The venue itself was quite good however we felt that the staff were not quite up to the standard of the hotel. Check in was not a breeze due to communication issues including the strong accent combined with softly spoken instructions. We left the room quite early and cleaners were on our floor but had not cleaned our room when we returned many hours later though they had clearly left our floor. The area around the hotel is very busy with a huge pub with plenty of bars and decent food. A major shopping centre is also within a short distance. I suspect that we will have no reason to revisit this area but would consider other options first.

I have stayed here on five? occasions. Quiet rooms facing the back car park and standard rooms facing the main Windsor Road. Staying in the (slightly) noisier rooms facing the road is cheaper but I didn’t find the slight hum of traffic at rush hour bothersome. If you are a light sleeper you might welcome the car park side. Rooms are all pretty much the same decor with horses and buggy prints on wall. Not much natural light and sealed windows. You’ll be using the air conditioning for comfort. Can’t fault the location. Hotel right next to busy pub / restaurant with several dining options. Despite proximity, can’t hear anything from the venue from the hotel. It’s handy for dinner and a pint of Guinness and a short walk home. Parking is often busy but have always found somewhere even if it’s not right by the hotel. Staff have always been helpful and pleasant. While next door restaurant does breakfasts, I wasn’t impressed with their options (not a reflection on the hotel). Cafe, bakery and IGA breakfast options down the road were ok. Proximity to Rouse Hill Estate a bonus. Only open Sundays 10an-4pm. Well worth a visit.

Sehr saubere Zimmer und neu, tolles Frühstück im Fiddler (neben dem Hotel in 10 Metern Entfernung), absolut hervorragend. Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Viele Parkplätze vorhanden. Der Pool ist sehr klein, eher für Kinder, wird fast nicht von Gästen benutzt.
