"Shared facilities (a female bathroom and a male one) sounded potentially awkward - but we only saw 1 or 2 other guests when we wanted to use those facilities (= early morning, late evening) so not a problem at all! Clean but basic and good value, “no frills” price for 2x singles sharing. Also very close to railway station (though we drove)."

"Very good stays at The Lodge Blacktown Stayed here 2x Room is very spacious Good air conditioning Clean room Beds are very comfortable Close to train station, a minute's drive There's Maccas, 7Eleven & Taco Bell across the road Great accommodation for athletic comps and training and plenty of room for families Soccer field, marathon field, rugby field Highly equipped"

"I have stayed here in the past and found that the room was clean along with the dining/breakfast area. Breakfast was good and not crowded with enough food. The Vittoria coffee is crap but that was the only thing that I didn't like but no big deal. Parking is easy and free. I will stay there again."

"Shower had mould around bottom of walls, we pushed bed against wall to have more room and under there was toenails and a pill on floor. Next door was the laundry that had no slow release mechanism on the door which kept banging every time door opened, when people were doing washing. Good at venue and staff were very friendly though."
