"As you enter the hotel it is extremely impressive! But the room that we stayed in was not! It was dark, small and the ceilings are very low! Strange! Beds were comfy. Parking ramp was good but hard to find a space a few times."

"Pretty run down and old. The new carpet was nice but old fixtures and tv didn’t work and no water in pool. Not many breakfast options. A/C unit was loud and squeaky. Bar/restaurant was not kid friendly fyi. Beds were comfy."

"Continental breakfast very limited options, not enough good and area was dirty. Water park also dirty with exposed rust on the structures. Rooms and halls very dated, with holes in walls, ripped wallpaper, and old dirty carpet. Furniture is all scuffed and dinged. The staff was kind and friendly. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Hancock House. Simon/Host provided excellent communication and updates during our stay. The incredible Victorian residence is located in a quiet and safe neighborhood overlooking the city. Our room was cozy, and in a very clean condition. The breakfast was terrific. Definitely a wonderful place to stay in Dubuque."

"The beds were very uncomfortable and breakfast is now lacking greatly. We have stayed here 3 or 4 times prior and it was not as great as it has been in the past. "

"If at all possible do not get a room near the pool. It can get quite loud around the pool area and it doesn't stop until about 11 pm. But overall great place to stay. Clean. Staff are nice and helpful. Plenty of parking."
