"OMG, what can I say? I travel a lot for work and pleasure, and I love staying at Best Western hotels for the most part, but boy, did they get it wrong this time. It looked like a hotel for dogs and not humans. There was actual doggie poop in the hallways. It smelled like wet dog throughout the second-floor walkway. Our room smelled foul, and there was hair all over the couch; the bathroom had hair, not mine, and it was dark and dusty. I had a major allergy flare-up that required me to go and get meds to alleviate it. The dog barking during the night tops it off. The pool is outdated and needs updating; it smelled like a hot, bleach-filled sauna when you passed by. I couldn't enjoy the welcoming lobby seating because, of course, dogs took over that area as well. The breakfast is hard to gauge because there was no seating when we got there, and a lot of things had run out or were empty. Honestly, the only great thing about this place was Alexis, the only front desk employee I met, who was amazing - someone give her a raise. After she left, there was really no one attending. I tried to contact the lobby, but never saw anyone there. Truly disappointed, honestly, below Best Western standards!! The refined finishes, spacious rooms, and excellent attention to detail were missing here. Honestly, this property looks like the chain took it over, put lipstick on a pig & overpriced it!
FYI - I am a dog lover, but I don't want to pay to stay in the doggie kennel."
