Had a fabulous stay. The room was clean, and had all the things you might need in a hotel room. The owner was fast with replies and very helpful. It was very close to the town centre with its own private carpark. Would 100% recommend!

This inn is a very old, but lovingly restored, quaint, old building near the centre of Keene. Our host was excellent. He went out of his way to greet us even though we were a little late arriving. He kept us informed with a few, key emails. The breakfast was simple, but there were many options. Parking was free and wasy.

Efficient welcoming staff. Nice pool, warm with plenty of seats and towels. Some of the public spaces were a bit tired, nothing that some new carpets and a coat of paint wouldn't cure. Room was fine. Excellent wifi and mobile signals. Stayed early October 2015.

We only had an opportunity to stay one night stay but overall had a very pleasant experience. The room was really nice apart from the wierd location of the television .
The bar was "like a real bar " and the lady serving was great ( as was the live entertainment ). Our dining experience has room for improvement although the staff were really nice . This place is a little gem. Whilst the building retains it's original character, the rooms are modern and very comfortable. Although small, they had everything we needed. The property was very clean with good quality bedding and towels. Breakfast was three freshly cooked courses unlike anything available in most hotels. Compliments to the chef / owners!

The latchis hotel was a great find the rooms aren't the classiest but the staff are all very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome and the history makes up for any small decor details. The rooms are large the bathrooms great with the original fittings and it has all the things a big chain has - fridge coffee maker TV etc. and what I really liked was the fact that all the staff loved and believed in the hotel/cinema and wants its success.
