I would definitely recommend staying here, particularly if you are after a short stay or backpacker. My friends and I booked the quadruple family room, a large bed with two bunk beds. The price was great, cheaper than a hostel. The rooms were private, clean and the beds were very comfy. The rest of the facilities in the property were clean and convenient. We spent two weeks at base Stkilda and enjoyed our stay! Paid extra for a private double room but was well worth the money, large bed and bathroom and plenty of room for clothing but sadly no wardrobe. The room linen didn't get changed for the whole two weeks which was disappointing but could get clean towels everyday which was great.
