Gorgeous accommodation with great breakfast

Nice room with doors to swimming area. Helpful and friendly team.

Everything about this place has been carefully chosen to make your stay as happy and comfortable as possible. From Mbasa’s warm welcome to our spacious room, delicious breakfasts and beautifully styled and maintained property and gardens, we loved it here. Our kind hosts Jo and Alan were super helpful and made us feel right at home: thank you so much for a truly lovely introduction to South Africa!

Unique property, a home rather than a hotel, clean, personalised, caring service .. overall excellent !!

Hotel wasn't busy at all when we stayed, it was only for one night but it is during their winter. Beautiful hotel, we treated ourselves to the presidential suite for our honeymoon but it was very well priced! Staff were great and so accommodating.

Stayed 1 night in maritime room , large room with a very large comfortable bed. Breakfast was lovely and had a large choice. Very attentive and excellent hosts.

Great accommodation. We had the 2 bedroom apartment which was brilliant for us. Breakfast great also. Claudette who ran the lodge was really helpful and friendly as well.

My girlfriend and I stayed here recently and loved it. The welcome from Wendy, Christopher and the wee doggie was lovely. We were disappointed to be staying only one night. The room was spotless with an honesty bar, large TV, air con, extremely comfortable bed, large bathroom/wet room, tea/coffee. On arrival we were given filter coffee and biscotti by the pool while Wendy chatted with us. One of the nicest touches was as we were getting ready to go out for dinner, we had a knock at the door and...

Great and lovely staff

Decent hotel, room was abit aged. Mattress felt cheap but on the other hand the hotel was reasonably priced and in a great location. That said, i WOULD book here again

Excellent hotel

Super location ,great welcome and Abby in the pool bar a real treasure. Concierge top rate. We lost a pair of glasses somewhere between the aircraft and the hotel. The guys went up to PE airport found and returned the specs to my very happy wife.

The room was spotless as were all the facilities. Food very good. Staff helpful and friendly.

ROOM WAS EXCELLENT AND LOCATION WAS FINE. STAFF VERY SLOW AND LONG WAIT FOR DRINKS AND FOOD. ALL GREAT THOUGH WHEN THEY ARRIVED. STAFF NOT VERY CARING OR INTERESTED AND NO ONE KNEW HOW TO USE THE COFFEE MACHINE IN THE LOBBY TO HELP US. ROOM WAS GREAT THOUGH AND VERY SPACIOUS.

Stayed for 8 nights at the Beach. Service was absolutely excellent, from the first night to the last. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. Ate at the hotel most evenings in the Verandah restaurant which had a lovely atmosphere, including a very good pianist on a couple of evenings. Hotel bar was clearly used by locals in the evenings which we enjoyed. Quality of food was excellent and good value for money, as were the bar prices. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, we would use the hotel...
