"The hotel itself is attractive and well appointed Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Coffee/bakery is fantastic. The setting is in a congested section of the Darjeeling bazaar without on site parking making arrival and departure complicated. We enjoyed our stay. "

"The room and washroom were spotless, and all the public rooms were very well-appointed. Heaters were always available and placed nearby. The food was delicious and nicely presented, The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Very pleased that I stayed with you. Thank you."

"Great location, great character and amazing staff"

"The hotel’s approach is soo steep, we had to think twice before heading out each time. They should offer complimentary shuttle service at least. Not recommended for elderly travelers. The food was not that great for the price they are charging. Overall the trip will be more exhausting if one decides to put up at this property. There is no parking available at the property so if you call for a taxi, you have to be ready at the gate at the precise time so that you can board the car and leave as it is a one way narrow street. If one wants to visit the mall road frequently, suggest you stay at a different property. The kitchen closes at 9:30PM which is not practical at all (I dont know about the other hotels as this was my trip to Darjeeling). The room phone was not working and even after complaining on all 3 days, it want changed/repaired and I had to climb 3 floors down to the reception to talk to house keeping. Lastly, there is no lift in this hotel and if you are allocated a room on the 3rd floor, you literally have to climb up 5 floors (from the road it is 2 floors to the reception which is termed as ground floor). "

"Beautiful view of the Kanchenjunga and staff is superb. The property has no vents even in bathroom!! Moldy snd must bathroom but super clean walls and floor. "
