Very tired and lots of dust on the edge. Bathroom was basic and heating and tv was not working. We ended up changing rooms. No bbc tv channel and WiFi was dodgy. Furniture was old and basic. Back to the 70s.

Good location and parking, although not easy to find. Property in poor condition and TV in rooms not working. New owners, so may improve, but needs inspecting. .MD Xmas 2023

Don’t bother
No meals available , advised of three other locals places to eat, one only does pizzas, one doesn’t take walk ins, the other is cash only Room was boiling hot, bathroom freezing ~ asked to have the bathroom rad on, never happened. Bed was so soft it was like a water bed …. Breakfast at 8, no one around, pub all locked up .. as we were packing up 35 mins later barman appeared, and said oh, we had some (more) kitchen issues so couldn’t open on time but what do you want for breakfast? No idea what’s on offer! Told whatever you want so a full English which was ok. Table dirty, no toast or bread offered, no cereal or fruit. Just a really poor experience

Lovely building but desperately in need of renovation / TLC! Plumbing leaked. No restaurant, very limited bar menu. Staff helpful though.

Dinner only served until 5pm, breakfast starts at 9am which is no good for most business people who work past these times. Room had broken power socket, lumpy bed, toilet not fastened down, broken light in cupboard, dirty shelves, excessive noise from bar. Tried to contact hotel to cancel 2nd night, no answer at all and no one called me back after leaving a voicemail. Overall would not recommend staying here at all.

Superb
Really enjoyable stay. Friendly helpful owners. Large comfortable rooms and a lively outlook over the village green. Breakfast was really good quality and hot. Loved the history of the building, hence the room names. Would readily book again when in the area

Tanya and her staff were very welcoming. The breakfast was really good, lots of choice. I liked the quirky building too, lots of history. Quainton Spice, next door was a very pleasant surprise, good food, lots of choice again and very friendly.

Comfy, clean, very friendly, excellent breakfast.
We stayed here for a couple of nights to enjoy the Cotswolds. This is in a good location and close to some lovely National Trust properties. It was good value and just what we were looking for. The Indian restaurant at the College Arms is great too.

Very good - could be great with a couple of tweaks
We stayed for 1 night and enjoyed staying here, staff were very friendly, pub is very nice though we didn't have time to sample anything in the evening. Rooms were clean and tidy. We stayed in Henry's room. Being critical I would say they could do with a new bed - there is plenty of room to get a king or even 2 large doubles in there, the existing bed was noisy and uncomfortable. Also, the stairs up to the room are treacherous, they need work - one step in particular you could easily fall down if not paying attention. The chair in the room was also so light weight I wouldn't have wanted to sit on it for fear of breakage. Breakfast was really good, although again being critical I would say the hash brown and black pudding could have done with being a bit longer - imo they should be both hot and crispy which these weren't so 8/10 for the brekky. But for £80 a night great value.

We stayed one night, after spending the day at Warwick Castle, and prior to enjoying a day in Stratford. It was perfectly located for our needs, and the staff were friendly. We had a great dinner at the Indian restaurant on-site, and the cooked-to-order breakfast in the morning was delicious. Our family room was spacious and comfortable. Highly recommend!

The hotel is a typical country inn with friendly staff and a pleasant location. It is handy for Stratford. We were attending the Game Fair and the staff were very accommodating in providing an early breakfast. All in all a very pleasant stay and we would recommend the College Arms.

The collage arms is an old coaching Inn So it’s not going to be perfect Walls are very thin so you hear the room next door Updating in the bathroom would be good But the rooms are clean and contain every thing you require for your stay Breakfast in the morning was good and the gentle man who was your morning host and cook was charming and very helpful

Close…but no cigar.
The most beautiful location and wonderful, friendly staff, in an authentic, historic (mainly) building, but let down a bit by a shoddy bathroom (broken shower and no light!). Bedroom lighting was lacklustre and the stairs up to the room a bit suspect. Also, our friends in the room below could hear the plumbing from our room…I’m hoping that these items can be attended to. It could be so charming.
