"We came here for a wedding for access to the gondola to ride up the mountain where the ceremony was held. We barely spent anytime in the room and property. What we did experience was pretty nice and clean. However, it didn't feel like it was worth the high end price. I guess it's the way it is in October in Stowe."

"I cannot say enough great things about this property. Especially the front desk girl at night. I believe her name is Alicia. She was so sweet and so helpful with all of questions. The bowling staff was amazing and friendly too. Our second time staying here and we love it!! Just a side note….. our room was literally outside of the construction they have going on until December. It was NOISY!!! They start early too. When I booked with Expedia, there was zero mention of construction "

"Couldn’t get the vibe online but it’s a roadside motel (with additional options like cabins I guess). I stayed for a night which was nice. Some road noise but the heater/ac unit drowned it out. Nice hot tub, comfy bed, free parking, and friendly staff. For long term I’d personally prefer a resort; but I do like the chic revamped motel for a short stay. "

"Breakfast was prepared fresh daily with multiple options. The location is just far enough removed from the downtown craziness but walkable to the local hiking path. The area around the hotel is beautiful and the staff/owners were wonderful. The room was clean, lighting was great and the shower was wonderful. We strongly recommend Northern Light Motel."
