"Our stay was amazing overall! The view was absolutely breathtaking — right in front of the ocean and perfect if you love nature and peaceful vibes. We booked the premium suite with balcony, and everything was super good. The room had AC and all the basic amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The property itself is a bit old, and the wooden washroom door was slightly crooked, but it wasn’t a huge issue for us. The highlight was definitely the stunning view and location. Also, the food at TuBird restaurant was bomb — we really enjoyed it! If you’re going mainly for the view, nature, and relaxing atmosphere, this place is awesome."

"We had a wonderful stay at West Coast Wilderness Lodge. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The highlight was definitely the breathtaking ocean view. Waking up to the beautiful scenery and enjoying breakfast overlooking the water made the experience truly special. The property is peaceful, well-maintained, and a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the Sunshine Coast. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Egmont! We would happily return."

"When we checked in we were notified that the power would be out the next day from 8 am to 6 pm. As a reminder, that we should have known, although no indication of this on the website or any other booking site. "So will breakfast be at 7:00?" I ask. "No there is no breakfast" he says. "So what do we do then?" He says he will have muffins, bread, fruit, yogurt, juices, etc. in the spare room. Okay, but nothing near the $60 breakfast included and paid for in the reservation. The next morning there was no sign of any staff in the entire hotel, and no breakfast. We were on our own and had to wait until the noon ferry to get coffee and food, on our own expense."
