"For what you pay, this is an excellent place to stay when visiting Hereford, but it is really a room only property. It is situated a couple of miles outside Hereford, in a quiet countryside setting, so is nice to unwind at. There is a continental breakfast available for only £5, but this could not be booked through the Expedia site. There is a communal kitchen and dining room, so you can either make something yourself, or order in a deliveroo. The room was a good size, clean and functional, with plenty of storage for your clothes. The bathroom was a good size, with a nice corner shower unit. There is limited manning of the front desk, but there are contact numbers if you have a problem. Having said that, the 2 members of staff on reception that i met were both welcoming and helpful, so do not get put off by this. Would i stay there gain, most certainly."

"Excellent view of the Wye and surrounding countryside from the patio and room 42 in particular. Good choice from competitively priced menu. Very good breakfast served most polite and helpful staff."

"Mani was an excellent host, very professional and passionate about the property. We stay in the annex rooms as visit a wedding near by. Room was modern, clean and beds very comfortable. Felt very spoilt as such a personal feel to the venue. Would defiantly return if going back to the area. Am also thinking about organising a stay in the middle not house for our local football team tour for boys. Thank you mani, we really appreciate your hospitality. Many thanks Claire and Lee x"

"Excellent hotel and pub. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was also excellent and wonderful value for money. The rooms were a good size, wonderfully clean and had everything you would need, including an iron and ironing board. So good that we are booking a return visit!"

"Room was fine. Clean and a good amount of space. The only downsides were the room was very hot even with the window open all night. Considering it’s April I presume the summer will be stifling. The shower also was poor, the pressure was low and operated from the bath taps meaning the temperature was extremely difficult to regulate. "

"Stayed for one night, had food in the restaurant which was lovely and the staff made me feel very welcome, which was reassuring especially as I was travelling on my own. Room was clean & tidy, got a good night sleep. Room had a kettle, hairdryer and iron, even a couple of complimentary biscuits which is always a nice touch. Would definitely stay again and use it as a base for exploring. "
