"Stunning venue for a beautiful wedding. Slightly disappointed that we paid extra for a junior suite and didn’t even have a bottle of water each in the room. It was 30degrees and I will say thank god for the Dyson fan in the room - that was very much needed!"
Gloucester Robinswood Hotel by Sunday

"It is on the outskirts of Gloucester, so was a great location to access the motorway. We enjoyed a good evening meal and took time to use the pool and spa. Paying for parking was the first thing you have to do, before anything and is a negative impact on check in. We had to call reception st midnight as there were people drinking ans shouting outside but they dealt with it straightaway."

"Mollies is just easy. Very expensive this time as apparently Tuesdays and Wednesdays are their busiest business days which is a shame as doubles the price. We tried the bunk bed room this time (just 2 of us) and was really good fun and would definitely recommend. Staff were great, easy access to boiling and cold drinking water is a huge plus. Beds are incredibly comfortable and shower is amazing. Consistent high quality throughout the motel each time. This was our 3rd visit and we’ll definitely be back just wish they kept prices more reasonable for leisure guests."

"The staff member who checked us in very late at night was excellent, welcoming and friendly. The room was pretty good with just a few bits that might need attention (if you look closely). Great location for breaking up a journey like we used it for."

"At first we were very disappointed that our anticipated stay at The Manor House was cancelled due to renovations being done just then. We were given a very nice room with a view over the course and Christchurch Village and every effort was made to make us happy. We had arrived by train and so on were on foot, but the concierge and the shuttle drivers were very kind, helping us to accomplish all that we had planned for our two days there. Breakfasts were bountiful and delicious…there was everything we could imagine to choose from. Although it’s a very large hotel, we were so impressed by how all the staff make a guest feel welcomed and cared for. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"We had room 24. Could watch the house martins nesting while lying in bed. Amazing history. Needs some refurbishment but not surprising in an older property and everything worked. Enjoyed spa facilities. Staff were really helpful although not always accessible when needed. Excellent restaurant in Usk (Wallace steakhouse although not cheap) Seemed to be limited to one key per room. Overall we spent a couple of really nice nights (B&B) there."
