There was a group of us canoeing with Wye Valley Canoes. We had a fabulous day, departing from Glasbury and canoeing 11 miles down to Hay-On-Wye
Goodrich Castle (English Heritage) is an excellent visit. Also, drive from Monmouth down the Wye Valley to Chepstow, stopping at the beautiful ruins of Tintern Abbey. Stunning scenery and some good places to eat.
