"We had a wonderful experience staying here during our time in Southampton. The property itself is lovely, and the team working here goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Our room was absolutely spotless, which is always a huge plus. The daily breakfast was delicious with plenty of options, and the location made exploring so easy. "Wonderful gem! We had a whirlwind stay for just 2 nights between docking at Southampton and leaving for Heathrow, but we crammed in a trip to Brighton to see family. The location of the inn was perfect: we could've gone into central Southampton easily enough, and having the train station a few minutes walk away was perfect for getting around. I only wish we'd had more energy and time to hang around the pub some more!"

"For the $91 per night price, this was very good value. Indeed, the property is a mere 5 minutes from the port and train station, which is great. Also, there are good restaurants within a 15 to 20 minute walk. There is a decent full kitchen, although there appeared to be no way to make ice. Be aware that there are no en suite bathrooms, but the bathroom was always available to us, since the property was only about half full.
