Cameron was so thoughtful and friendly. It had everything you could want and more and the breakfast was perfect. We were only there 1 night but felt a wonderful break and would love to stay again

A very friendly and welcoming pub.We had a comfortable en suite room and enjoyed an excellent evening meal and a traditional full English breakfast. The staff were very friendly and professional ensuring that our brief stay was a pleasant one.The hotel was located on a quaint cobbled street leading down to the harbour.Highly recommended.

Beautiful location

We have stayed here before two years ago so we’re aware in March it can be cold in the cottage - which it was-so the log burner is a big plus. Kitchenware had a fine layer of dust over it so we had to wash everything before use, which was disappointing. But overall the location, character and charm made up for it with easy access to The Cleveland Way walking trail - which we were doing. Also good bus service.

Amazing stay at St Hildas Complex..Beautiful accommodation in a area surrounded by walks to the sea..Fab food and the nicest staff you could ever wish to meet. Not forgetting Dora the adorableCockerpoo...If your thinking of holidaying near Staithes/runswick Bay / Sandsend /Whitby this is the place you need to say....oh and the lemon muffins at breakfast are to die for..The bus stop is 30 seconds away were it costs £3 to go anywhere ..

Very clean hotel, lovely breakfast. Would stay here again.

Lovely Hotel, great location and great staff. Thanks for accommodating us during these times and helping us get the removals sorted and the job done.

Beautiful grounds accessed from the bar/rear of restaurant area - literally step outside and there they are. 10-15 minutes walk from the front of the hotel takes you into Sandsend, lovely village. Walk in the opposite direction takes you to Whitby, can walk or take car. Reception asked what our plans were each day, gave us parking disc for Whitby...gives you 3 hours in designated areas..perfect. Lovely hotel for a break that can be as relaxing or busy as you want it to be.
