"From there moment we arrived the wonderful attentive staff were an absolute pleasure. Great room - great location - will not be staying anywhere else when we are in Liverpool"
"This properties should not be on Expedia site. It's a boneless shelter with a couple of spare rooms. Absolutely terrible and a price of £166 a night. "
"Excellent place to stay in Liverpool city centre. Great facilities, spotlessly clean, fabulous breakfast, and wonderful staff. Highly recommend Holiday Inn Express on Duke Street!"

10/10 Excellent
"Very impressed with the check in staff and also the bar staff. Lovely room too"
"This is a lovely hotel with friendly, helpful staff. The rooms are clean and well kept. The breakfast has a great choice and hot food English breakfast is well cooked. It can be busy but a wait for more food or a seat is not too long. The tables were cleaned quickly and the staff working here were all pleasant and helpful. The hotel is well situated for going into the shopping area. Plenty of choice for eating, drinking close by and in the shopping area. Not far from China town. We were there 2 days and room service did come to the room but we said it was not needed. Again really friendly staff. From check in to check out a great place. Thank you very much for our stay. "
"Walkable from the train station, about 45 minutes walk from Anfield (we attended a gig). Felt quite safe around the area. Missing obvious places to eat nearby, but we could’ve investigated that more or asked at the reception so that’s not a mark down.
Clean, modern, friendly staff, decent stay!"
"Excellent location for attending an event at the Liverpool Arena. Clean throughout and very friendly staff - bar, reception and housekeeping all excellent! Food was delicious and served quickly. "
"Brilliant stay here, the food was spacious & modern. AC available during the recent heatwave which was idea. Lovely breakfast buffet and friendly staff.
The hotel is very close to Liverpool ONE and Albert Dock which is great.
Parking is off site, closest being QPark at Liverpool one, very safe for the car. "
Britain’s biggest cathedral is home to stunning and sometimes controversial religious art, heavenly architecture and some of the best views over Liverpool.
