"Good spot for stockholm."

"Upon arrival, I was told that my room was not available. My booking was not in the system. Even though it was active on the app on my end. To make a long story short. I was told no room was available. I asked to speak with the manager, I was a room was found but hidden in the system, if I wanted this room I had to pay an up charge of approximately 110 dollars more than my original booking. I then asked to speak with the manager. He finally came out and was able to find a room . As far as I know I wasn’t up charged. The property is clean, the bed was comfortable. I could not with good conscience recommend this property after what happened to me."

"Our hotel room did not have A/C. Room 89 was extremely hot to sleep in. We were provided an a/c unit, in which we had to walk to the lobby to request ice from the front desk clerk, walk back to our room, and load it into the unit every 4 hours, to keep the room from being just under sweltering when we closed our eyes at night. Also the room did not contain any windows so no proper ventilation occurred despite our repeated conversations with the front desk who kept saying it was working, and yet we were boiling in our bed every night. On top off that, the lack of windows deeply affected our circadian rhythms since a concept of time was impossible to grasp in a room underground with no sunlight."

"It is very well located right next to the central train station so it was easy to walk to Gamla Stan, the Royal Palace, City Hall and so many other sights. There are lots of good choices for dining within a short walk from the hotel and the roof top bar was a bonus. It’s a very large and busy hotel but the front desk staff are very helpful. The breakfast was okay but not as good as other breakfasts at other Scandic hotels that I have stayed. The rooms are a nice size with lots of room for 2 or 3 people."

"Absolutely wonderful. The hotel decor was exceptional. The beds and bedding were exquisite, as were the bathroom products offered. The breakfast was delicious and staff were always attentive and helpful. Even in asking for an extra towel, in two minutes they were knocking on our door with several clean towels. It made us want to go back to Stockholm just so we could stay at The Sparrow again."
