"We had another fantastic stay at the Somerville Hotel to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. We were met at the door by a very friendly gentleman who welcomed us to the Hotel and showed us to reception. The reception staff were extremely friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived giving us information on all surrounding areas and interesting places to visit and taking our cases to our room. Once in our room, we found a welcome gift and card congratulating us on our anniversary which was nice. Our room was lovely and spacious with a large bathroom and stunning views of the bay. If I had to be picky the only negative about our whole experience was that at breakfast, on the second morning, our order was mislaid or forgotten and we were left waiting with an empty table for around an hour before I enquired about where our breakfast was. It was then another 15 minutes until the food appeared with lots of apologies. This blip didn’t spoil our stay as we were looked after very well each morning after and nothing was too much trouble. 😊 "

"We had a lovely stay at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel is spotlessly clean and my room was cleaned daily to a high standard. The bed was very comfy. The fridge is stocked daily with fresh still and sparkling water and fresh jersey milk. The food at the buffet breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from. The coffee was good too. The location is perfect, right across from the beach and a short walk away from the bud station and bars/restaurants. I’d highly recommend staying here. "

"Staff were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast bar was plentiful and food good. Bar food was also very good. Hotel is wheelchair-friendly with entrance ramp as well as inside ramps and accessible lavatories. Property is only 6 minutes from the port by taxi. Good experience overall!"
