Its ok but not so good
The house boat is too far from the main and Famous Dal Lake.It was very difficult to reach the place .No food eating points as well as market near the hotel.Cannot sit in the houseboat without the interfarance of the staff alone as if we are staying without paying the rent.Childrens cannot play freely.The houseboat was just like you are in a prison.

Highly unsatisfied customer
It was one of my worst travelling / staying experiences, ever I have felt. I have travelled so many parts of India, but this one was quite shocking. Compared to tariff (Rs.5000/- I paid) the stay & comforts were abysmal & minimal. The Boat House was NOT neat & clean. The flush of the Toilet was NOT working. Food / Dinner was of poor quality. At night around 10:30 PM (24-May-2013) power went off. There was NO genset / inverter for back up. Till the next day morning power was NOT restored (till we checked out Boat House to catch up the flight at 10 AM). The experience was so bad that my family decided NOT to recommend any friends / family for Boat House stay in future. This type of service is NOT at all expected from an expedia listed Boat House. Really pathetic. It seems that they are casual in approach towards the customers / tourists. Definitely this is going to be a black spot so far tourism business in Sri Nagar Boat house is concerned. So my request to customers NOT to go by false advertisements / attracting pictures of Boat Houses.

Hält nicht was es verspricht!
Ich bin direkt von meiner Heimat nach Srinagar gekommen, und es war schwer das Houseboat zu finden. Es war das erste Mal in einem Houseboat, und ich fand es am Anfang imponierend und spannend. Als ich dann duschen wollte, sah ich das Bad und war schokiert, denn es war grauenhaft. Es war Juli und sehr heiß, und ... Überraschung!! Kein Wasser. Im Zimmer war ein schlecht funktionierender Ventilator und die Bettwäsche habe ich mir gar nicht angeschaut. Am Morgen darauf beklagte ich mich beim Manager, und der sagte mich ich sollte in ein Luxushotel gehen, wenn es mir nicht passte. Ich fühlte mich sehr unglücklich, denn ich hatte für eine ganze Woche bezahlt. Da kam eine andere Person und versuchte zu schlichten, und brachte mich in ein anderes Houseboat, welches perfekt war. Ich blieb da weniger Zeit als die Nächte die ich geplant hatte, trotzdem wurde von mir noch Geld verlangt, Das war keine gute Erfahrung.
