"Hotel was cute and as advertised, queen deluxe room was spacious and had an amazing soaking tub but some of the remodeling details of the suite are subpar. Minimal issues such as gaps in the entry door allowing light and sound from main hall, awkward bathroom layout, dirty exterior windows. We came during off/mud season so this may be why but staffing was super limited, bar closed early at 9 on a Saturday, breakfast was very limited (bagels and mini quiche), offered no drinks other than water/coffee and unattended to the point we had to alert staff an outlet circuit went out and food was cold / toaster not working. Common areas atmosphere was great and would have been a bonus if staying longer than one night. "

"Hotel staff was friendly and welcoming. Rooms were clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable. Hot tub was nice, as was the breakfast!"

"The breakfast was delicious and morning staff were friendly and accommodating. Check in was seamless but a little slow. Overall the hotel is getting a bit dated but clean and in a great location!"

"Our stay far surpassed our expectations. Never have I ever seen a historical inn so spotlessly clean. Everything about our stay felt elevated and well thought out. We loved the restaurant, pool and afternoon cookies in the game room. "

"We took an overnight specifically to give the kids some joyful pool time. Unfortunately there were 2 industry style machines (a dehumidifier and a fan) that were so loud we literally couldn’t hear each other speak. Management said they wouldn’t turn it off while we swam. THEN directly at 8 am lawn equipment and tractors started making construction noises DIRECTLY outside our window. The front desk was rude. Honestly, can not recommend less."
