"We had a wonderful stay at Cala del Porto Hotel. The staff were exceptional; friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. The rooms were very clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable, making it easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep. From the front desk to the breakfast team and housekeeping, everyone was accommodating and kind, which really made the experience feel welcoming and stress-free."

"We enjoyed five night at this well situated hotel, right on the main square and within easy walking distance to the beaches and nightlife. Also within walking distance to the train station and main bus stop. Rooms come in very different sizes. Our double room was clean and comfortable with a very good mattress. There is a small refrigerator and a lock box in the room, along with a tv. Maid service was efficient and friendly. The hotel staff were very friendly and the breakfast is good. The sons of the founder run the hotel and the one I met was attentive and welcoming. The three women at the front desk were all very helpful, and multilingua, with at least English and German among them. "

They were warm, helpful, and always ready with great local recommendations — whether it was where to find the best tartufo gelato (hint: it’s nearby!) or the most scenic spots to watch the sunset. The room was stylish, spotless, and thoughtfully designed with high-end touches — especially the rain shower and incredibly comfortable bed. We had a beautiful balcony with a small view of the sea. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was a daily highlight. Fresh fruit, pastries, eggs and cappuccinos with a view of the Calabrian coast — it’s the kind of morning that makes you want to stay forever. The location is perfect for exploring. Just a few steps from the main piazza, restaurants, cafes, and the historic castle, yet tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. "Long-ish wait to check-in due to no one being at the front desk. Rooms are fine. Lots of noise outside at night with teenagers screaming until 1 a.m."
