"The room was ok. The only had half glass so water splashed out the whole time. And the shower "screamed" a horrible squeeling noise when the water was on. No relaxing showers.We had to keep towels down on yhe. Also, random stairs after you got off the elevator.... because we had a suite it was different then a regular room."

"The rooms were kept clean. The front desk staff was not as helpful. Derrick gave the wrong room number for our baggage, so we waited over 30 minutes for our bags to arrive to our room. But other than that everything was great."

"This property was near many local attractions and walking was an easy option. Staff was friendly and helpful, food was good, a great view from the lobby/bar area, and was quiet at night. "

"Disappointed on arrival that no one was allowed an early check-in. We were told at 3:30 that we had to wait until 4 to check in. As we sat in their lobby, a line began to form with guests waiting to check-in. When we realized this we were the 8th guest in line and by the time we checked in there were 10 guests behind us. Room was clean. However, 1 of bath towels had large baseball size hole in center of it. Holder for lotion was falling out of wall. There was no shampoo provided in shower, although they did provide body wash and hair conditioner. "

"I love this hotel. I have been to the French Quarter many times and have stayed in many lovely hotels but never at Hotel Monteleone. I've drank at the Carousel Bar and have worked out in their gym and sat by the rooftop pool (I stayed at their sister hotel so you get use of the facilities) but have never stayed there. Although it is a bit more expensive than some other hotels in the French Quarter, it is worth it. The hotel is beautiful and the staff treats you like royalty. I really felt pampered. I give it a 100% rating!"
