The hosts were very welcoming and very engaging. The room was great and extremely comfortable. There was an issue with roadworks and James called me the night before to explain, which I thought was great service.

The location was perfect being just round the corner from the ferry, but quiet ( no driving around at the end of a long journey).The pub was very well laid out with plenty of room in the bar, lounge and dining areas. The room was great. There is a breakfast room downstairs which is open all of the time to get coffee and tea etc.
We were leaving on a Sunday morning around 8am before breakfast started, but the staff were really helpful and put some food out ready for us (cereal and milk was already out anyway).
