Nice room, good parking, great breakfast - and just a short walk into town via the beach for a bit or along the cliff top…..

We couldn't fault this - from the welcome, through a comfortable sleep to a friendly great breakfast. Lovely place, well-run, perfectly clean, and very friendly. The views from the rooms are extensive, yet it's a short walk to a very acceptable pub with good beer and meals. Definitely one to go back to.

Wow! What an amazing two days. We stayed in the King Henry VIII Suite, which was such a fantastic experience. The restaurant meals were superb and all the staff were friendly and helpful.

Excellent stay. Highly recommend. Stunning setting. Great food (diner and breakfast).

Lovely stay. Nice rooms and food. Cosy bar and fireplace. Staff needed prompting for service throughout the meal though.

Our 3rd visit to this wonderful hotel and we are already booking for December where they have lovely open log fires just adding to the surrounds. Ian also delighted they have relaxed the lounge menu which can now be eaten at tables. Quite right too so great management decision. Their main menu is a wonderful 5 courses but if staying more than a day then it’s nice to have a more relaxed menu choice which this time we had. Always a wonderful place to stay in South Wales.

Whilst I was originally offered a disabled room which I rejected (I had not asked for one) the alternative was superb. I also had a problem with the shower which meant that we had to shower in an alternative room until this was corrected, so not a good start. Having said that the staff were extremely understanding and helpful and the beautiful location more than made up for these minor irritations. I would thoroughly recommend a stay here.

The cottage was very clean throughout. Check-in was entirely online, as the cottages are self-contained from the main building. I think I was the only person staying during my visit, making it blissfully quiet. There are no dining facilities on-site, so you will need to drive to the recommended local places to eat. I didn't actually try any of them, as I was using the cottage as a base to visit family. I will definitely look to book here again next time I am in the area."

We had really good stay. The property was fantastic with amazing views over the bay from the decking. Only downside was we had to provide our own towels & the tv constantly keep turning off. Other than that brilliant

This was our second stay at the property. We received a warm welcome as usual and checked into our spacious family room. The hotel is clean but a little tired in places. We're happy to see that they are undertaking a refurbishment and look forward to seeing the results next year. The location is outstanding; a short walk from the beach and high street. Absolutely amazing hotel and staff. They went above and beyond to make my elderly parents stay easy and safe. Beautiful room with fab view and definitely worth the money, breakfast was great with loads of options even for my mum who has multiple food allergies.

Great hotel in a fantastic location. Seems to have been renovated recently and the rooms are spacious and lovely. Unfortunately the windows don't open and the door to the balcony is locked. The breakfast is decent and has what you want. You can request vegan/vegetarian options as well! Staff were lovely and helpful and they have a quick check out option as well.

The hotel has some areas that seem a little tired and in need of updating. It was clean in most areas The staff were very pleasant and helpful, they are all worthy of praise. The food was fabulous although we didn’t always require a set 2 or 3 course meal. Drinks were expensive but the overall experience was very enjoyable and we would definitely recommend and visit again.
