"This was my first time staying there due to coming to NC for a funeral. The front desk lady wasn't nice. I chose the room because it was close to the location where the funeral home was and the pictures looked very nice. As we walk to our room up the stairs, the thin little carpet, there was so nasty crumbs paper, I even saw something brown soft mess that looked like poop. We kept on going to our room. The beds were soft.The sheets seemed to be clean Thank God, but the carpet was dirty crumbs all over the carpet.It wasn't vacuumed. The desk on a furniture in the room was thick that I took a video of it. The shower curtain in the bathroom was disgusting.It had stains all over the end of the shower curtain. The ceilings in the bathroom was full of chipped paint, there was some mold in the corner of the tub. Behind the back of the toilet were that two comes through the wall was so disgusting full of dust and dirt. I left a review describing the same thing along with the video and pictures that I took. I advised them that they're paying their cleaning people for nothing because nothing was clean except for the bed.You're charging over a hundred dollars for a room that's filthy.It makes no sense. We checked in online, so by the time we got back to the hotel it was late and we just did not feel like going through getting another room when we knew we were leaving in the morning. All I can say is never, ever again"

"Everything ok , are few things not goog , the Toilet is loose it moves when you seat on it. And the hall way it small like cigarette all the way same with the room , smells nasty. It should keep an Iron in the room . "

"I’ll start with the positives because I always try to be fair. The location of Haven Inn in Louisburg is super convenient for Seby Jones Performing Arts. Also, the front desk girl who helped reactivate my key card in the morning when we got locked out was genuinely nice and helpful. Now… The photos online are a little… optimistic. You can tell they attempted a renovation at some point, but the renovation team fell way short. The floors are bubbling, separating, and growing things in the in between. Listen—I am not fancy at all. I’m the kind of traveler who just wants a clean place to sleep and a decent shower. But the bathtub was rough. There was mildew halfway up the tub and the shower curtain had clearly seen some things. Shower skipped for us. For three people, we had one towel and two wash rags, a used roll of toilet paper, and a collection of used mystery, mismatched lotion/conditioner/shampoo bottles. When I asked for more towels, they told me they had to wait for the other cleaning lady to finish washing some. The towels we eventually saw looked like they had served faithfully for about a decade and the mini fridge looked like it had rolled out of the back of someone’s pickup truck and was trying its best. No bugs (we hope) (and no refunds) so we stayed. 😂 And no, I didn't complain - I got the hint with the "All Sales Final, No Refunds" sign at check-in. My suggestion- book an Airbnb early. Sorry Haven, I kinda feel bad leaving a less than par review. "
