"Pictures are not what the rooms look like IN PERSON!! When we arrived, we were surprised and caught off guard by how different it looked like from the online pictures. Our room was very dark and old. It smelled very bad inside, moldy smell… the unit was old and the bathroom was all glass.. so much glass everywhere, we felt uncomfortable. While it’s in a nice location, I would not recommend "

"The hotel although clean and seemingly maintained showed signs of being dated and rooms lack the necessary updates. There were no sufficient electrical outlets near the bed nor in the living room including the desk where we needed to recharge our laptops."

"Front desk - Not happy and barely spoke English. Elevator broken. Stayed on 5th flloor with 4 heavy bags....horrible. Clumps of hair on towel rack, mold on bath area, burned out light bulbs, sawed off bolts in closet that were rusted and protruded an inch above floor, shower door glass chipped and sharp, electrical outlets would not keep plug seated (worn out), 1 hand towel and 1 wash cloth and 2 bath towels for two people in room, no drinking cups or ice machines. No beach chairs available at check-in(after paying $22 "resort fee"). Location great, hotel unsafe, dirty and in disrepair. Management would not offer partial refund after writing them. Basically said I was a liar. "

"We’ve stayed at the Fairwind Hotel almost once every year. I love the dancers that come in the evenings at the bar. Additionally, you get beach towels with your stay and everything nearby is within walkable distance. "

"Room was excellent, amazing views !! Bed was good, but furniture for setting was useless, not good. Bathroom was good design and clean. Safe in closet was on the floor, not good, had to lay on floor to see and get stuff in and out. Hotel and room was right on Ocean Blvd, watch all the activity going on. and Fabulous place to eat all around. Pool and deck chairs on the roof with great views all around. Overall, Excellent !!"
