"Absolutely beautiful hotel. We were luckily upgraded to a suite which had a lovely balcony overlooking the breathtaking gardens and private beach. Blankets were provided. Huge, comfortable double bed. Lovely toiletries. Had and excellent evening meal and breakfast. Friendly staff. Partner had a massage in the spa which added to his relaxing experience. Would thoroughly recommend. "
"Beautiful hotel, a little tired in places, threadbare carpet in our room, extractor fans not working, dirty windows, otherwise a perfect place to stay"
"We stayed here for a couple of nights. The location is great especially if you like walking as you can walk to Penzance or Marazion aling the flat walkway overlooking the sea.
The hotel has a public bar frequented by locals and is very friendly.
Our room was very clean and had tea, coffee, biscuits and a bottle of water each provided. Please note however we weren't provided with shampoo or shower gel but liquid hand soap was provided. The breakfast was made to order and was excellent. The owner, Doreen, is very friendly and helpful.
The establishment is dated but very clean. We definitely would recommend staying here especially for a few nights."
"This is gem of a hotel for those looking to stay in Truro. A 10min walk gets you into the town centre, but the hotel feels a world away surrounded by lush gardens. A beautiful historic building that’s been decorated to a high standard. Staff were helpful - and I’m not sure how I managed it, but we got an upgrade to the Bishop Suite - a jaw-dropping room and a bathroom with twin claw foot tubs. Breakfast was good and so were the cocktails. "
