"Stunning Grand Hotel quality for a fraction of 5Star price. Just NOT to look for it on DiDi by name, only by address: Avatar Valley Grand Hotel is actually “ Zhangjiajie Country Garden Phoenix Hotel” We had luck with a friendly DiDi driver that helped us and called their local number to verify location. Breakfast buffet room looks like an Opera House. Swimming Pools are huge. Not crowded at all for the 1400 rooms available. Late August, maybe seeemed maybe 10% occupied. Amazingly helpful Staff...

Minus one star for wheelchair accessibility, but the staff at the door was kind enough to lift my dad and the wheelchair up the steps. Also, WiFi was extremely slow in during the day and evening; could be an issue for anyone considering remote work. Otherwise, it’s a great hotel!"
