"We had a very pleasant and unforgettable stay… our Butler, Joana, was superb in her service… she acted above and beyond her call of duty… from the very start, her constant communication made us at ease with our travel arrangements. the rest of the staff were also very nice despite communication barrier… we always love Hilton and its chain of hotel… it has always been our choice whenever we travel, selection for choices of food in the breakfast buffet was plenty… servers were courteous…"

"All staffs are very friendly and helpful from checkin staff Xiao Wu, hotel manager, restaurant staffs & all the drivers. Xiao Wu very patiently went through the tour routes based on how much time we have with a lovely hand-drawn cute map. We had a lovely stay despite the unexpected road works. But hotel had proactively arranged the pickup at road work section to provide us a worry free experience. We are very lucky to have a free upgrade to a lovely 270 degree Mountain View lodge, No 11 Jian Shan. We loved it. It is so spacious with a stunning mountain view and a perfect spot to watch Sunset. Hotel location is very conveniently close to West Gate of Zhangjiajie National Park, the quietest gate of all five gates. It is perfect for me as I am not great with long queues and walking along big tour groups. Overall, I would highlight recommend No 5 Vally Lodge."

"Hotel staff helped us planned out route. Incredibly helpful, assisted us in buying tickets as well. Complimentary pop and ice cream in the lobby. Breakfast buffet is fantastic. Will stay here again."

"Staff was so pleasant and helpful. Room is spacious, clean, quiet, bed is comfortable, comfortable pillows, good shower water pressure, and the buffet breakfast is a must!! The location is across from Tianmen Mtn entrance. Centrally located with walking distance to many restaurants. Also gave a sample jar of the city’s fine tea and a souvenir. Def would stay here again. Highly recommend."

"The property is beautiful but that’s where it begin and ends. Staff were disinterested and it was like a cafeteria experience -no warmth or personality. The concierge was terrible and no one went out of their way. Although the hotel grounds and location are beautiful it was very touristy and impersonal with not much to do in the area."
