"The staff is very nice, but the property is definitely not worth the price. We had issues with the AC unit, which they tried to tell us if they can the central AC was not turned on. Did not make any sense. We didn’t sleep at all as it was very hot in our room. We also had issues with the construction outside our hotel. The location is extremely loud so you can forget about sleeping as there is a very loud restaurant right outside the hotel door blasting music until all hours of the night. The photos of this hotel are very deceiving online. It is definitely not luxurious. For the money I spent, I am very disappointed in the accommodations. Save yourself some money and stay elsewhere! "

"Loved everything. Room was large with lots of storage. Situated on a quiet courtyard with small balcony and Acropolis view. Comfortable bed, nice bathroom, mini fridge, espresso machine. Staff was great. Rooftop restaurant/bar had excellent food and a magnificent view of Acropolis. Lovely pool and outdoor dining area in courtyard. Good service and snacks in bar. Great buffet breakfast daily. Nothing to complain about at all. Everything was great."

"The hotel is a charming boutique property with an excellent view of the Acropolis of Athens. At night the view becomes even more magical when the Acropolis is beautifully illuminated. The location is outstanding, with most major attractions within easy walking distance. Customer service was exceptional. The two front office managers, Ibineos and Christopher, were extremely courteous and helpful. They consistently went out of their way to assist guests, always with a warm smile. Their politeness and professionalism truly enhanced our stay."

"The Astor is an 8 minute walk with a 23kg bag from the blue train line at Syntagma station to the front reception desk. It has a fabulous view of the Acropolis at the breakfast area. There are two convenience stores within 100 metres of the front reception desk. There are numerous bakeries and coffees shops aswell very nearby. Breakfast is very decent. I would rate the hotel value for money and very well positioned for a few days in this ancient capital. "
