Can't fault anything about the stay. The cottage, the facilities, the cleanliness, the communication and the value were all absolutely impeccable.

It was faultless. Warm and clean and everything you need for a stay as close as you can get to Alton Towers. Space to park and leave your car. 2-3 minutes walk to the turnstiles at Alton towers. Highly recommend the place.

Lovely cottage and well equipped.

Lovely quirky place, close to the local amenities! Everything was catered for and a welcome gift greeted us on arrival. The secluded garden was a little treat to relax in. Rooms were spacious and clean. Parking outside and on the street! Will definitely come back!

It's the most underrated place you will think off I generally it's been 2 days but still missing the place so much 😭.the beautiful view ,the sunset and sunrise it's so iconic beautiful ❤️.you will see cows and sheep just remind me my hometown in hills it makes me so much feel home like ,well can't forget the rabbit he will come to surprise in the cottage area sneaky and cute .all things I see make me feel like people dream of a house in a quiet and peaceful area love it all . Still thinking to...

Great base for walking, all facilities as expected, heating very easy to operate and the most stunning view.

Property is ideal ,the location for Alton Towers is amazing only 5mins walk

Really good accommodation in great location. Milk, bread and other things in the fridge. Easy check-in. Very pleased

The cottage was so quaint, great welcome pack with everything you need with a homely feel. Definitely will be returning with my dogs, ideal location for walking with a friendly pub within walking distance. Great communication with clear instructions, before arriving and after. Ian kindly contacted within a hour of leaving as i had forgotten something in the cottage.

I can not fault the woodshed or Karl the host. Just amazing

The property is very well located on a hill above Bakewell. Parking for a medium sized car on site is a bonus. Bakewell is a busy town, full of tourists. Ate at Charleston’s, do not recommend. Everything was great, we enjoyed our 3 nights at Bakewell

Nice clean, comfortable property with everything you need. Comfortably sleeps 10. And it really is less than five minutes walk to Alton Towers! Definitely stay here again.

I go away with work most weeks and this has to be up there with one of the best places I have stayed in. Would love to come back in the summer. I’ve now booked up for my third successive week. The kitchen is perfect, plenty of work space and well laid out. Bit of confusion over the microwave until I realised it was built into the oven. Maybe do with a washing machine. Great surroundings and a great place to stay.

I had a wonderful stay at Stonecroft Lodge. I have stayed before and will look to return again as testament to the quality of the accommodation and also the peace and relaxation factor.
