The room was small but its a single and has everything you need. the owners where on hand if you require anything. there is a very good local food pub 5 mins walk away. more if you want to drive or items form the village shop also run by the owners if you prefer."

"Our room was absolutely perfect! There was a sitting area and a mini kitchen in addition to our bedroom area. There was fresh bread, milk, juice, coffee/tea, fresh fruit - you name it they included it in our kitchen. I couldn't have asked for a more wonderful spot to spend the night. If we come back to the UK we'll spend a week here!"

"Great welcome and communication by the people running the house, its tucked away in a quiet place with locked and safe parking behind a gate. Rooms were very clean and comfy but I didn't have any food which was kindly on offer so can't comment on that. Very friendly welcome."

"Paul and Sophie were the consumate hosts. Attentive without being over bearing. The property is in first class order with everything you could need for a perfect quiet stay. The breakfast was amazing and freshly cooked to order every day. As we have family in the area, we have always struggled to find good accommodation but Lynedene ticked all the boxes!! We will most definitely be back. This will be our number one go to in the area. "

"We booked our stay back in September. On 13th October we travelled 200 miles from Scotland, arriving at 8pm, to find it closed. It transpired that the hotel had gone out of business on 5th October. No one had thought to inform us, and cancel our booking! I spent an hour on the phone speaking to various people in America, employed by Hotels.com, assuming they would be able to help, perhaps by arranging alternative accommodation. Lovely 3* budget hotel

" Ibis is 3* budget hotel and as such, in my opinion, it is a nice hotel. It is close to train and bus stations. Staf at the reception was helpful and friendly. My room was functional and bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was one of a “pod/container” type. It felt a bit strange with bathroom floor higher than room floor. But it was clean and I liked the shower. I’m a light sleeper so I was worried about street and hotel noises but my room was very quiet so I got a good sleep. There is no air conditioning in the room but as I stayed in April and I was able to open window, I found room temperature just right for me. I liked this hotel and would stay again although I feel, Ibis would benefit from air conditioning in the summer. "

"Really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, the Club room was very comfortable and stylish. I liked the pool and health club area, the facilities were excellent. All the staff I came across were friendly and kinds. Breakfast in the morning was lovely, a good selection of hot and cold options. Only thing that I would suggest is to have a regular cup in the room for those wanting a cup of tea. The coffee cups to go with the coffee pod machine are really small for a regular drink. I am sure someone could have got us one if we asked but I didn't want to go and ask in the evening when we realised."
