This hotel room was totally unsuitable. The queen size bed was not a queen size bed. It was a mattress on the floor which you couldn’t get to round the edge. You had to climb from the end, impossible really with any older person, the step up to the shower and toilet was well over 14 inches high again very difficult for anyone with mobility problems, we didn’t stay as soon as I saw the room I booked somewhere else and they called me a taxi and we went away. I shall be trying to reclaim the money back for the hotel through my credit card.

This property is a dump now, not worth considering any more. Owners changed and they made the rooms even smaller. Very hard to even get into the hotel because boxes stacked in front 3 meters high, high levels of noise, smelly, windows that didn't close correctly. Staff was no better the girl working the front days was very sick, infecting the guests who need to do business. The overnight person working the front desk was gone at 1:50 am when we wanted to checkout. Stupid sign sad be back in 10 minutes. At 2:20 am we just walked out. left the key on the desks, room was prepaid and nothing wrong. Then we can talk about the size of the room, small is being generous, I have closets in my house that are bigger than the half shoe box. So if you want no services, a very small, very noisy room then this is the hotel for you. If you can live through your stay.

I never erver could recommend thi place they are absolutely unfair there was a mistake with my reservayion about the day ir was full i back 2 days ago explained my situation as i was stucked in Singapore ... despite they have free rooms they didn't want to give me a room..totally inflexible and blame Expedia saying they never recived any mail.. and the Expedia said they didnt responded... not sure whos saying the truth now... so I just have to think hundred times now before make a booking ... honestly i cant thiblnk how easy is dont return money people based on a fool policy as they have customers every day just thiiefs

I was extremely happy wit my stay. As a solo traveler, this was perfect for one. They do have bigger rooms and even one room is good enough for two, but I could definitely see why this may not work for 2 if not a couple or really good friends. Regardless, I loved how close this was to the China Town station (less than 3 minute walk) and there are so many foo options, stores and other awesome stuff to buy for self or others. A quick 10 to 15 minute walk in any direction will take you to amazing malls or other fantastic restaurants. Honestly, for the price, location and overall satisfaction with how wonderful the staff are, this is the place to pick if traveling on a budget.

It was a disappointing staycation. Don’t be fool by the balcony picture, it can’t be accessed, just a window. aircon is just blowing air. Requested for a change of room but was sort of downgraded and decided to stay on. Requested for a fan. Room quality isn’t great as compared to many others. For the price, it just isn’t worth it. No fridge, tv uses some china media app.

Great location in the middle of Chinatown. Quite noisy, surprisingly not from outside in the street, but there was a lot of loud talking and children running in the corridors. Not bad late at night, though. The room was compact, but fine - enough room to open a suitcase. It was reasonably clean, but not spotless. It's handy for Chinatown MRT and lots of food options, obviously. There's a dim sum restaurant downstairs that I didn't try, but seems popular. All in all, good value for money.

Chinatown, Singapore.
Spent 2 nights in Chinatown, Singapore. Hotel was right in the middle of the shopping district and food courts. Very easy to get around and buy souvenirs and eat a great variety of food. Hotel organised our trip to Singapore Zoo with a discount, including transport. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Chinatown Hotel
Very friendly helpful staff. Great location to Chinatown. Comfortable rooms, great to have a bathroom in the room. The only slight issue is the projection tv picturr washes out when you want to open the blinds.

The property's location is very convenient. It situated in the heart of Chinatown. The staffs were very friendly and helping.Everything is nice but the only problem I had was the fridge. It doesn't seem to work well, where it takes very long to cool.

Rooms are extra small, however i guess its standard in at that price level. Room was very well equipped and very functional. Entrance to building is a bit turn off but the lobby is a lot nicer. Smell of old hole rug is pretty bad. The staff was very kind and helpful and location at china town was cool. Noise from the street was reaching our room.

It was clean but it was very noisy (the walls were thin and you could hear the plumbing running all night). It is also in a more dilapidated state than it appears in the photos. But the staff were nice and it was in a good location.

good and modern. room small but not too small by hong Kong standard. the only thing that i didn't like was the noice outside. maybe weekend.... lot of loud singing night time (Cantonese songs from the 80s) quite annoying. but that's china town hence i can't blame the hotel

Room was tiny, the walking space was liters 1 meter by 2 meters. The photos were deceiving as I couldn’t tell the reality of the space. Shower had mold on the floor tile grout. Dead roach in the hallway as we were leaving grossed me out. The weirdest part was we had a giant projection screen as the tv that you had to duck under to get from the bed to the bath. It was just an overall disappointment. I would recommend this room ONLY as a room you don’t plan to spend time in. It works for a shower and luggage storage with a nap in between travel. Staff was wonderful and friendly.

Perfect location with excellent service!
A great hotel in the perfect area to explore Singapore! The service was excellent and all of the staff were helpful whenever we needed anything. We would definitely stay again. One thing to be away of is that outside the hotel there are two durian shops and a durian restaurant. The smell can be over powering for people who aren’t used to it.

I stayed for 4 nights. Soap provide not everyday. Make up the room is just give new towels and water. Not make up the bed. Shower is ok. First so hot even turn to cold side. But later 5 minute turn to be cool and cant even turn warm again. Anyway its very convenient to go around the places. Modern and quite new hotel. Small but good.
