Great hotel with what it effectively its own private beach. The staff were wonderful and so was the food. It really was amazing and we had a great time. It could be a bit quiet at night and there isn't much else around - although if you walk left along the beach there is a beach shack and another hotel both doing excellent food but at much cheaper rates (and the drinks are much cheaper too). The price of food and drink is extremely expensive by Indian standards, but fairly standard for UK...

Enjoyed the stay . Will go back to the same place. Nice and a very hospitable bar. Good pool bar. Very courteous and accomadating staff. Suggestion : book a room on the first floor sea facing. It has doors opening to the lawn and beach pathway. If out of budget, the garden view rooms on the first floor are the same and only a minute's walk to the beach path ( of course no beach view). Goa Marriott will be by first choice and I recommend it to all.

The staff and food are great. Rooms were kept clean and are well looked after. The spa is very good and well priced.

Overall great experience

Only negative is no extended time given to check out, no bath tub even in deluxe room all else was comfortable

A truly outstanding property! A lot has been invested to create a beautiful haven very close to the madness of Baga but just far enough away. A brilliant team also run it with 29 rooms and around 70 employees. The service was beyond exceptional. Our stay in May 2015 was amazing, there was 4 of us, one from UK, one from India, one from Oman and one from Indonesia, we are all good friends and often travel together. The hotel location is very good as it is only 2 km from the beach, but away from the hustle of the markets and built up city. This was our my vacation after returning to India. And I am glad I started with Lemon Tree in Goa. This is an amazing property with a lot of heritage feel. The room was excellent with the balcony opening towards the greenery. The staff was really courteous. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of variety. Though its not right on the beach, its very close. Its also very close to a lot of eateries. Thanks you LemonTree for an excellent time.

We recently stayed at the Ibis Calangute while in Goa for some very sad family business, and I cannot speak highly enough of the hotel and its staff. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, everyone went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible during a difficult time. Stayed for a few days to relax after sightseeing with our daughter and this hotel was ideal. Very clean, staff couldn't do enough to help and the buffet breakfast was very tasty.

Santana Beach Resort Candolim cannot be faulted. Large rooms, best a/c ever. Room cleaned and bedding/towels changed daily. The staff at the hotel are excellent, nothing is too much trouble, they were excellent with my 5 year old. Breakfast was a joy, there was plenty to choose from. We ate in the restaurant a few times and everything we tried, we loved.
