"The staff were a great help in extra amenities we needed. They would come and clean the room daily. The bodywah shampoo and conditioner were small for four people to a room and the AC did not work but they did provide fans for the room which was nice. Overall we did enjoy our stay and will come again. We love how close we were to the beach."

"Oceanfront property with cozy rooms, friendly staff, and an on-site restaurant. Less than 5 minutes from Hearst Castle. Really appreciate the small touches (a nice hand-written postcard; upscale toiletries). Our room overlooked the ocean, and we watched the sun set. They light bonfires at night. Would definitely return here. Listen to the waves, visit the castle, enjoy the food. Well-run hotel. Better than any chain."

"The balcony view was very nice . The room was comprtable and also very nice. Be aware that you might be given assurance of a requested room but when you arrive they gave the room to someone else. It happened to us and also to another guest when we were checking in. The continental breakfast in the morning was only sweet breads, yogurt cups ( they ran out by the second day of our stay)- and instant oatmeal cups - No decaf coffee- no milk - no juice. Overall, it was a nice stay."
