"The location was perfect, easy walk from parking and easy walk to all the sites. The check in is completely online and there are no onsite staff. If you message the staff are responsive. The bedroom was great and cool, although no air on. The shared bathroom was large, but shower could have been better cleaned and maintained. Although the name suggests it is a bed & breakfast, there is no breakfast included, however, there are plenty of cafes just downstairs."

We stayed in 8 different hotels while touring around Tuscany and this was far and away the best in every way. We were given very clear directions in advance of our stay and had no difficulty driving into Siena and finding the hotel. The building is lovely, sensitively modernised and beautifully kept. This place is surreal. We felt like we were on the set of the Name of the Rose. Sleeping in a real XIV century monastery, with its own church (with amazing frescoes), on a hill overlooking the grapes and olive trees dotted countryside...just unbelievable. What a wonderful find. The hotel is just 4 rooms, beautifully and carefully designed with a lot of attention to detail. Rooms are large, fantastic powerful shower and amazing mattress! Best sleep I'd had in months! Sara and Michele bought the historic building after years of experience in 5 start hotels, so you get 5 start care and attention in a beautifully designed boutique hotel. You can tell they love what they do and are passionate about making your stay as comfortable as possible....
