The alantara offered Balinese style rooms with comfortable bed. The grounds had a tropical vibe and the pool was generous in proportion with a safe shallow end for small children. The spa treatmemts were great with professional therapists. And the shuttle bus to town centre and beach offered regular schedule.

We had an incredible stay at Sumitra and couldn’t recommend it more highly. Everything was exceptional from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was warm, attentive and genuinely outstanding, and we were pleasantly surprised by how reasonably priced everything was. The location was perfect for us—peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle, yet only a short bike ride to restaurants, beaches and anything else we wanted to explore. The complimentary bikes were one of the highlights of our stay and made getting around so easy and enjoyable. The spa was another standout. We had some of the best massages we’ve ever experienced, and it was the perfect way to relax during our holiday. We would absolutely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sumitra to anyone looking for a beautiful, relaxing stay with exceptional hospitality.

The staff are lovely, which is the best thing about this property. Our room was very big and clean, and the filtered water station is a great feature. Unfortunately, being on the first floor, we were woken by people above us at 5am each morning. The property is also on a busy road, front and back, so it is quite noisy and not peaceful. Saying that, it is a ‘kid resort’, so your kids will love it, just not for us anymore (youngest is 10). The breakfast bar was ok, not the greatest. Found some amazing warrung’s outside the property, which were yummy and so affordable.

If you are travelling and want an airport hotel this is okay it’s incredibly busy takes a long time for room Service to come the lifts were broken - for a big hotel out of four lifts there was only two. I had to walk up the stairs quite a bit and I was on the 10th floor when the staff did reach out they were very good and flexible and accommodating to help you -
