"The hotel is beautifully restored. Too bad we only stayed 1 night , it would have been nice to stay another day and chill out in the pool. We enjoyed an aperitivo on the rooftop and the sunset was gorgeous. The staff we very nice and showed us the whole place . Conchita in the restaurant was very nice and Omma and the front desk Valerie and the rest of the staff were all nice."

"This is a special villa from which to explore the Vittoria DOCG wine region and Chiaramonte Gulfi. The villa is beautiful and peaceful. We were lucky to be the only guests there at the time. The breakfast is well above standard for the region. We highly recommend this villa."

"Warm welcome and outstanding food! We purchased the dinner and found it spectacular. Her local specialties were so delicious and so many! So many of the appetizers were of local farms and recipes of the area. And Breakfast was extra special with warm local ricotta and delicious fruit. Great location for visiting Modica, Ragusa etc"

We almost had to go back to the village airstrip for the night at 1 am because the proprietress didn’t want to accommodate an after-hours booking the app allowed. We had no idea of any of that and were in our taxi on the way to the property when I called just to confirm the booking—the owner tried to refuse us and if I hadn’t forced the issue, I don’t know what would have...

"The hotel is on a hillside. Has some trails to hike and a very nice pool. Rooms are small but confortable. Even on a hot day the ceiling fan will keep you cool (no AC). The food in the restaurant was superb. Very personalized attention "

"Nice base to explore Donnafugata, local beaches and southern Sicily more generally. Be aware that you may need to use local restaurants in the evening (five minute drive). Went here on honeymoon and would happily return."
