"It is very natural to get lost on the winding alleys of Agrigento, but that is part of the fun of staying here. The property is very old, but very lovely and the rooms inside have been nicely updated. Very clean, very comfortable, and surprisingly quiet at night given how close it is to the main strolling part of town with plenty of restaurants, bars, shops, cafes.. "The room and gardens are absolutely beautiful! It is very quiet and serene, and very special to stay in a room literally built against a cliff face. The minibar was well stocked, and prices were reasonable. The view to the Roman buildings is impressive during the day and at night as they are illuminated. A very easy walk into town, and the host have us several recommendations for restaurants. We are at Sal8, which was delicious and very busy/popular, so make sure to book!"

"This was a beautiful hotel with gorgeous landscaping and outdoor seating areas. Breakfast was delicious. The dining patio, looking out at the lit up temple was magic. The pool was lovely although chilly and the rooms had every amenity, even a Dyson hair dryer. We wish we had had an extra day to enjoy the hotel."

"This was one of our favourite stops on our tour around Sicily. After spending so much time in the cities, it was wonderful to relax in the peaceful countryside. The property itself was beautiful, full of character, and felt very authentic. There was ample parking. The pool, set within a walled garden, was absolutely stunning, although the water was quite cold during our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and our room was very spacious. That said, the furniture and bed were a little uncomfortable. There was a spa and some excursions. But no written information anywhere. A summary of activities in our room would have been helpful. We enjoyed walking around the grounds, although part of the path passed by a small airstrip, which wasn’t particularly scenic. Because of that, I don’t think I would choose to stay in the houses located beside it. You have to try the almond milk absolutely delicious. We also had dinner in the dining room both evenings, and the meals were excellent. Overall, this was a charming and beautifully decorated hotel, and we had a lovely stay."

"Superior property! The private pool in the room was a great touch! The entire staff was exceptional. I would definitely recommend this property. As an avid gardener, I was impressed by everything that was grown on the grounds and how they use their produce in their offerings. "

"The reception was helpful and very attentive. The room was large and nice. However, breakfast was so unpleasant. The room was overcrowded, there was one guy trying to clean the tables and help. Obviously he was overwhelmed. To be honest, it felt like a zoo. We couldn’t find a table to sit. No spoons. The entire experience was traumatic. If you have that amount of people reaching breakfast at the same time, you should have 5 waiters attending. It wasn’t a relaxed nice breakfast."
