Great place with superb view of Fuji, Hiro is so nice and the shuttle is handy (worth messaging them in advance to check times). Rented e bikes/bikes which was great to get around fantastic location, much better price than near the station!

Amazing roof floor onset with views of Fujisan. Fantastic breakfast and dinner. Free shuttle from bus/train station too

Amazing location with beautiful surroundings food was incredible and giant comfy beds, peaceful and quiet with plenty to do.

Amenities and location

Really nice hotel with great view of Fuji. Onsen was very nice and relaxing after hard days.

Wish I could leave more than 5 stars! We had an amazing time and were really sad to leave. The staff were all so kind and welcoming, the food was absolutely delicious and we loved the hot tub in our room. A truly incredible stay for families - we really hope to come back one day!

Excellent room! Onsen very good. Amenities were impeccable

Our spacious, comfortable room had a stunning view over the lake with Mt Fuji in the background. The staff were very attentive, especially in the main ryoken restaurant where we ate breakfast and dinner. Food was traditional, delicious and they catered well for my partner’s vegetarian diet (we informed the property a few days ahead). The public onsen was good to access directly from the hotel and provided a beautiful view over the lake. Very quiet. Courtesy bus makes it easy to reach the main...

Used this hotel to break up a long journey. Staff all excellent and the onsen was really good.

Lovely old fashioned Japanese Hotel. It is in a beautiful location overlooking the lake with Mount Fuji off to the side. Breakfast is worth it do note it is Japanese breakfast - we loved it. Rooms are large for Japan & have everything you need. My Husband enjoyed the onsen which has lovely views and area to sit & relax afterwards. Would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Kawaguichiko. Thanks to all the wonderful staff. We used shuttle for return to station but as we arrived early we...

Superb stay. Absolutely excellent staff, really helpful and gone out their way to help. Gorgeous views of forest around and down the hill fabulous walks and bike rides. Also awesome place to run, such a fresh air and beautiful atmosphere with lots of surroundings. So much to do, park, water rides, golf as well horseriding. Would definitely recommend

Good

A great area to be in, surrounded by good restaurants, wonderful sights of Fuji and especially quiet :)

Negative - From what i could tell there was only 1 male toilet for the dorm, meaning waiting to be able to use and then trying to rush because your occupying the only toilet, also a slight gap in the door so you felt a little exposed!. Positive- everything else really, beautiful area really convenient for the lakes/hiking, not far from the main town, great lounge area upstairs with complimentary alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks/snacks as well as places to relax, table tennis etc, dorm beds...
