Clean room, very helpful staff and a great kitchen area with cooking facilities and free refreshments. Highly recommended and would definitely stay there again!

This was an extremely affordable place to suit our last-minute decision to stay in Koshigoe. The room was great, everything was pretty basic but for the price we paid it was more than enough. The owners were wonderful despite our very limited Japanese and even gifted us some postcards on departure! We were able to leave our bags on the day of checkout and explore the area before heading onto our next destination.

The staff at this hotel were extremely welcoming and spoke very good English. The hotel is in a quiet, relaxed area of Tokyo, and only one stop away from Ikebukuro station.

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Machiko, the owner, is such a kind, warm, and lovely person. I arrived later than expected, but she patiently waited for me to arrive, which I really appreciated after a long day of travelling. The location is incredibly peaceful and quiet. It was one of the best nights of sleep I had during my trip to Japan, and it was the perfect place to relax and unwind. I only stayed for one night, but...

Great hotel, amazing details throughout and first class service. Rooms are small but it is Tokyo, facilities, services (all the bathroom amenities you need, toothbrushes, shavers, etc. And free bottles of water and coffee, etc everyday) are excellent. The best thing about this hotel, location! couple of minutes walk to the nearest train station which is only 5 mins to Akihabara and Ueno (to the east) and 12 mins to Shinjuku and Shibuya (to the west). Also Tokyo Dome on your doorstep. Quiet and...

A really lovely hotel with a calm atmosphere. Rooms were quiet, amenities were great and the staff were very helpful and kind.

I stayed at 5 different accommodations during my visit to Japan, and Ryokan Plum was by far my favourite - it was a shame that I could only stay for one night! I stayed in the traditional tatami room, which exceeded all of my expectations. It was beautiful! The host (I forget her name) who greeted me upon my arrival was very kind and welcoming. I would highly recommend Ryokan Plum to anyone visiting the Hakone/Odawara area.

Lovely little hostel with great amenities including bike hire, fishing equipment, tent hire. Location was ideal, very close to the station and Honcho Street.

Very spacious rooms, the bunker beds are awesome. My son loved it, the food in the cafe is very nice. The onsen bath was so relaxing. There are free popsicles and soda bottles and colors for kids which is very thoughtful. The bus station is right next to the hotel.

Near terminals and with frequent free bus transfer was best feature. Staff very helpful. Bar was good and Breakfast good.

What a hotel! We stayed here for our final 3 nights in Tokyo, we were going to do 1 but decided to stay the 3 because we wanted to feel settled. They let us check in at 11:30am at no extra cost because it was quiet, our room was spacious and really modern and the shopping area and restaurant area had lots to choose from. Getting into Tokyo was so easy and it was so handy when leaving to be able to grab a trolley and go straight to departures! Highly recommend this hotel

Easy for only English speaking travelers. Very high quality for the price.

Stay was great as always, good sized rooms, clean, aiport limosine, friendly. Only problem we had was that the laundry room isnt big enough for the size of the hotel, had to wait hours to get a machine then when we did the machine doesnt dry the clothes properly and people remove your clothes before the alotted 30 min period

Perfect little rooms! The only issue is the wait for the elevator.
