"Food was exceptional for both breakfast and dinner. The 10% discount for food and drink was appreciated. The place had a good vibe and the staff were very friendly. The only downside was in the room. The fixtures and fittings were very tired and in need of refurbishment. The old single glazed metal windows, that did not close properly, made the bathroom cold. There was no shelf space for toiletries near the basin and the towel rail was the other side of the room! I would recommend the hotel but would upgrade to a better room. "

"The hotel was as always clean and tidy with very polite and helpful staff. The only problem was with the swimming pool and spa area . The pool was very dirty and the jacuzzi was broken apparently broken for a while . This said it is still exceptionally good value and the first time of a few visits that the pool has been below standards. We will definitely go again . "

"Our stay in Holiday inn express was so so lovely. The staff really friendly, helpful especially in the morning at breakfast. They were on the ball making sure everyone was well feed. The breakfest was truly delicious. I did not expect such lovely hot food for the price we paid. Great value, great staff and very comfortable beds. Not to far from Shrewsbury. There in 10 minutes. Thank you to all the staff and the hotel itself. "
