I can't recommend Hawkstone Hall highly enough. The location is just stunning, as is the house. Yet despite the grandeur of the place, I never felt anything but totally at ease. We normally stay in the cheapest Premier Inn/Travelodge type hotel when in the area, but enjoyed the lobby space more than I thought and was worth paying that little bit more for.

The location was perfect for our needs, the hotel staff were very friendly and efficient, our room was exceptionally clean and comfy, the restaurant food was excellent with a varied menu, and the parking was great. Melissa made us feel very welcome when we checked in, and we enjoyed the restaurant very much. The manager, Attila, was extremely helpful, and made us feel that nothing was too much trouble.
