"A Shetland local told us there are no great hotels on the island, and it's basically a small town so our hopes were not too hight. The outside of the hotel is rather dismal. In this case the book is better than the cover. Our room was spacious but not fancy. We enjoyed the view - looking right at the ferry building. It was fun watching the ferry leave each night. And we arrived by ferry, so the location was a huge plus. The breakfast buffet (free) was good. Both hot and cold options. Hot food...
