We only stayed for one night and whilst the room was very nice and big, it was very noisy. The room was the same side as the train/tram and it runs nearly all through the night.

The hotel and location were both OK but not as enjoyable as our previous Calgary stays. Given Calgary’s many one way streets, parking was awkward particularly as our GPS had us park at one point and walk to the hotel. I gather from reception, we are not the first guests to experience this. Our room was on the 22nd floor right next to the elevators so both inconvenient and noisy. I did ask about changing rooms shortly after our arrival but was told that wasn’t possible as they would have to clean the room if we did. In any event, we opted not to have our room cleaned during our two day stay. The Sandman wouldn’t be our first choice for accommodation a return trip to Calgary.

Beautiful view of the city and the Rocky Mountains in the distance. Room and hotel overall were clean and cozy, and very modern and chic feeling. We loved the pool and hot tub. Thank you Sandman for a wonderful stay!

Overall, everything was good! Compared to the price, you’re getting a pretty good deal!! The hotel is right next to train stations and close to bus stations, I didn’t need to take a cab to anywhere as I could just take the bus/train right to the hotel door. The room was clean too!

We loved this hotel! Very clean and bathtub and bathroom were upgraded and clean! The bed was very comfortable! The front desks were helpful and friendly! The only reason I would give 4 and not 5 is the carpet in the room but every hotel in canada seems to have it. Time to switch to flooring that is easy to clean and not walking directly through the entrance of the hotel onto carpet with outdoor shoes. The entire hotel should just be flooring and cleaned properly daily! However this is so many hotels and we would go back to this one!

Standard room with Kitchenette. Got there early but our room was ready so we were allowed an early check-in. Very nice, large upgraded room. Bathroom was clean but very small. The only issue with this property is that it is right next to the LRT which makes for a noisy environment.

Nice hotel. Being downtown meant it was in a busy area and noisy at times with the traffic, however it was convenient for shops etc within walking distance. Room was nice and clean and staff were nice too. I would stay there again.
