The first night when we checked in there was a problem with our air conditioner and it is extremely hot in Sevilla in September. I messaged them about it and got a response right away. Carmen came and checked it out while we were out and found it wasn’t working. She left us a key for another room and called a technician right away to fix...

"Beautiful historic property, some of which is in need of refurbishment. The hotel advertises a pool, which is misleading. It has an area with water but there is no access in or out of the water. The hote is set in the old historic district, which adds to the charm but access by car difficult."

"Really enjoyed our stay at Alcoba del Rey. Staff was very friendly and helpful and gave excellent dinner recommendations. Location is a bit out of the way so taxi was best way to get to the sites. We also did not realize our room did not have a shower until we were already there - only a bathtub with a wand. Overall very charming hotel. Breakfast was good too. "
